Thread: a few more questions...

I have been reading as much as I can on this forum and have learned quite a bit, but some questions are still lingering in my head. The blade terminology....

1. What is the difference in 1/4 hollow, 1/2 hollow and a "full hollow" blade? I have seen talk about this on the forum but I'm still not sure what the difference is...to me most SR look to be based on a hollow ground design.....

2. What does the term "Wedge" mean? I have heard people use this term to describe a razor type......I am unclear on this one.

3. A singing blade? I gather this is ground really thin but any more info on it would be helpful just to appease my own curiosity.

4. I was practicing holding my SR today and realized that it is really awkward if you're not use to it, not sure if I am holding it correctly or if there is even a "correct" way to hold a razor.
