Well it was killing me not trying out my two straight razors. So I had to do it tonight. I chose the Schulze as I figured it was closer to shave ready. I spent maybe 20 minutes with it on my Zanol Barbers hone then have it 30 or so laps on the strop. Off to the bathroom I went razor in hand.
I opted to choose a cold water shave after some stuff I read today. Using Williams soap.
I managed to get through both cheeks down to below jaw line, my neck almost to jaw line WTG. I then went on a bender and went Xtg for my cheeks and part of my chin.
All of that followed with ATG as a final touch up with my Mach 15 for some odd areas.
Net result was a great first experience! I only had 1 or 2 little red blossoms that were not even what I would classify as a cut or nick. I have a touch of razor burn on 1 cheek but that was not from this shave but from testing my razor while honing. It is not much of a sotd but it marks my first shave with a straight ithttp://tapa.tk/mu/63fb78c2-21d5-4a85.jpg
