Thread: First time honing

So i picked up a few razors off an auction site and they needed to have bevels set and be polished up, so i set out doing so via trial and error i used a 1k 4k and 8k with a polish on felt after after a bit i got the hang of it and now all 4 of my razors are perfect. I did learn a valuable lesson when your testing the shave and your already shaved using your legs is a bad idea...my legs are now bbs but damn cold

When I have a really heavy honing session, I get some very odd looks at work the next day because of the bald patches on my arms and legs !!
