Thanked: 2Hello! New guy
Hello,
My name is Chris and I just bought 2 used straight razors off ebay. The first one is a WADE AND BUTCHER STRAIGHT RAZOR. Its a french tip with minimal rust spots and a nice edge. Black horn scales that seem to be in good shape but I plan on restoring it and put g10 scales on. It cost me 22.50 shipped. The second is a WH Morley & Sons Straight Razor in Original Box. It has a more squire tip but isn't completely sharp. It has WH Morley & Sons etched on the blade. Its in good shape with a few small rust spots and no chips in the blade. The box has price of $3.50 on it and its red-ish brown. It cost me $17.43 shipped. I cant wait to restore and polish'em up. Did I make a decent first razor purchase? Ive made a few fixed blade knives and have worked with g10 and micarta.
Thanks,
ChrisLast edited by socalkid; 08-12-2011 at 08:12 AM.
