As fun as Straights can be, I cut myself about a month ago and have a scar....
Its not a horrible scar, but enough to send me back to DE/SE..Any chance it will go away in a few more months?

Scars can take time, and depending on the depth and type of cut, a long time. There is some scar lotions out there that are supposed to reduce scars, but I don't have any personal experience with 'em.
All of my scars were the result of saws, guns, etc. Nothing as clean cutting as a straight. And some of my biggest scars get better every year.
Give it time man.....

Get some vitamin E oil or cream. It is usually found in or around the skin care area of most stores. It is an indispensible tool for getting rid of most small to medium scarring. It does take some time though.
If it's a good cut, it can take some time. I have one that is probably not going away ever. But now I can shave over it without a problem so it is no longer an issue. Those kinds of cuts and resulting scars happen right when you think you've "got it".
As long as they fade, I'll keep at it with the straights....
I just dont want to wind up looking like a Pirate/Frankenstein.
Is it a scar or a badge of honor?
Think of what people pay for tatoos to make them look like badasses. You got your badass badge for free!
