Thread: Help, I keep touching myself!

My perfectly smooth chin that is.. I was just so amazed this morning, this is my 6th shave with a straight and my face and chin was so unbelievably smooth this morning, I just kept rubbing my cheeks to feel it over and over and over again.

Too bad I don't have a wife to impress yet.

Amazing. Only 1 slight cut (more like an impression, I still have to watch out on some angles/directions) and like 2 minor nicks. I bought a nice alum block and it made the shave even better for me.

Yesterday, I also went with a friend to the koordenwinkel, our local shaveshop, and he was very impressed with it all, so I might be able to convert him to straightshaving as well, huzzah!

Isn't it the best feeling? Lynn has even said that the BBS feeling is addicting! I tend to agree with him.

I know how that is. When I started I told a friend about it. He got excited and I gave him one for his B-day. He still loves to use it when he's got some time.

do you think a 2 side paddle-strop with 1 side pasted would be enough to get started for a beginner?

It worked well for me, and still does. Tony Miller wide paddle with 0.5 micron diamond paste on the back side. It's handy for traveling too.
