Smile My first straight razor shave was...

    ...excellent!

Quite an experience. You kinda lose yourself in the process. Zen. I don't know if others feel the timelessness of it, but I certainly did. I'm finally looking forward to shaving again. I got my razor honed by Oz in Sydney and he gave me some good tips and did a great job! Thanks to everyone in the SRP for making me feel more than welcome!

Glad it went well for you, Cracker.
Now you understand what we are on about here - the relaxation and Zen of the shaving experience.
    I wish you many more.

I feel most "in the moment" when the Styptic first contacts a cut.

Thanks Oz. I didn't clear the goatee. I wanted to get good with the easy bits first! I will likely keep the goatee but narrow it a bit! Fancy talking 'hair' with blokes Thanks for the hone btw.
