haha Rule of thumb on this forum, no pic it didn't happen. were all lookie loos here XD, and honing razors is a different ball game took me quite awhile to get enough to put a comfortable shaving edge on my razors.

There's the pic. Not sure i understand why it would be so different. Certainly go to a higher grit/shine level then my Japanese chisels, but otherwise seems same. Guess I will figure that out later.
I work with knives all day long and can get a chefs knife almost as sharp as a straight razor but I cant even get a SR as sharp as a pocket knife. Some of the same principles apply but the technique is totally different.Quote:
