    I love those guys. You can't go wrong with them. Glad you were satisfied and on your way to great shaves. BTW get ready to throw out just about everything you learned in sharpening class.

    haha Rule of thumb on this forum, no pic it didn't happen. were all lookie loos here XD, and honing razors is a different ball game took me quite awhile to get enough to put a comfortable shaving edge on my razors.

    There's the pic. Not sure i understand why it would be so different. Certainly go to a higher grit/shine level then my Japanese chisels, but otherwise seems same. Guess I will figure that out later.

    I work with knives all day long and can get a chefs knife almost as sharp as a straight razor but I cant even get a SR as sharp as a pocket knife. Some of the same principles apply but the technique is totally different.
