how do you use one of these mugs/scuttles
How do you use one. I don't see how there is enough space in the bowl part to whip up a good lather?? Got a very antique one for Christmas.

Thanked: 3228If it is similar to this one Burleigh Ironstone Vintage Shaving Scuttle then you don't build a lather in the bowl. The bowl with holes in it holds your puck of soap and you soak your brush in the spout part. When ready remove brush, shake excess water out, load the brush with soap and build/whip up your lather on your face. At least that is what I do.

Thanked: 3228I posted that as I have no photo of my antique scuttle which is similar in build only, I assure you.
