    Default So what now?

    I have to wait every two days to shave as my beard grows in slow and I shaved yesterday. I have honed and stropped every one of my razors, lapped my stones, played with uberlathers, and have no more razors coming in at the moment. Now what. I guess the waiting game is on. The trials and tribulations of a SR addict. I must be the most boring person in the world because all I do is sit around and do "maintenance" (play with) my razors and watch Gunsmoke. Now that I think about it I should probably cancel my ebay account because Im getting the itch as I type.

    You may find that using a straight razor might be like having a boat. More maintenance that use!(:-)
    If your just starting out, you may find that shaving everyday when it requires only one or two easy passes might be a great way to learn. It may also be easier on your skin.

    I find that it's important to have diverse, practical-if-not-productive hobbies that are not terribly seasonal. In this way, no single one of my addictions can take over before I have a chance to distract myself with one of the others. I use reverse-psychology on myself regularly to trick myself into doing what needs to be done.

    I have a razor that needs a new pin and buffing on around where the pin is. You can work on that for me

    Now you go online and research all the razors and other shaving gear and make lists of what you want down the road and print out the info and just lust over it.

    I don't need to shave every day but do it so my beard doesn'r get too thick.
