Welcome to SRP Paul. I'm not familiar with the brand of razor, but if it's on the list of razors to avoid here, there is a reason for that. It could be that it won't hold an edge, bad steel, or various other reasons. I would recomend you PM a few of the members here that offer honing services and see about making it shave ready. Just because it shaves your arm does not mean you'll get a good shave on your face. After reading the information for beginners, give it a whirl and let us know the results. If you decide to make another razor purchase, check the classifieds or the Vendors' Corner here for deal. I would wait on buying razors off the bay until you gain more information on what to look for when bidding and buying. Keep us posted on your progress and ask any questions you have.
