So sitting at office today and a friends that is also a straight razor shaver sends me a text. "I am putting in an order for some shaving stuff, check the website out and if you see anything you like tell me and I will get it. Trying to get free shipping. Just pay me when it arrives."

And stupid me went to the website. My wifes gonna kill me.

Well been gone and really busy but thought I would update. The Timor did not come shave ready so I thought I would use it to tackle my first attempt at honing. Borrowed my buddies stone and went to work. Had to completely rebuilt the bevel however after 2 days of working on it I had my first shave on it.

The Shavette however man that things id dangerously fun. What an amazing piece of shaving gear to have.

As for the Badger brush thats a whole new world compared to the cheap $15 synthetic one I was using.

Oh and the wife...she thought she would come and watch me shave to see why I am now shaving all the time instead of once every 2 weeks (needed the healing time). Got all lathered up and when the blade touched my face and made it 1/2 and inch she got up and left. She said it was like listening to nails on a chalkboard and my shaving thing is mine. She wants nothing to do with it anymore other than the after effects (the smooth face). Doesnt even care if I buy new shaving stuff anymore.

There is another blade in my future today. Just not sure what gonna head out to the store soon and see though. And maby some new creams or soaps too!!!!
