Default Do yall approve of my first razor?

I found a site that seemed to be affiliated with this site. Do you all think this is a good buy for a beginner?

Great blade. A little pricey for me, but i'm sure it'll do a great job.

There is always a solution, whether it's already present or if you have to make it.

Lol, I thought it was inexpensive.

Is it still pricey considering free shipping, a strop, bowl, brush and stand?

Good site, good razor, but for an extra $20.00 I'd add a 3" strop. Much Easier to use IMO!

I would also go with the 3'' strop.

Everyone works with different resources (ie, money) but I think you made a smart move by not going for the bottom of the line razor. If a person can afford to spend just a few more dollars, I think they increase their value significantly.

That's the kit I just got for my first razor. I'm happy with it. I would go for the 3" strop also.

Jim of Vintage Blades LLC is a fine fellow IME, a supporter or SRP, and that is a fine razor you have there.
