Where to find 1/16 brass rods in West-Vlaanderen?

like the title says, where can I find 1/16 brass rods in West-Vlaanderen?

You do what I did: buy it in the US and have it shipped.

I simply asked one of the people in the restoration forum to buy some 1/16" brass and send it to me. Imperial diameters (in inches) is hard to find here. Additionally, such things tend to be pricy here and cheap in the US. Combined with the favorable exchange rate, asking someone to ship it to you is both the most convenient and cheapest solution.

I once tried finding it locally, but just could not find it. I only found it in mm, and it was very expensive as well.
The only alternative I could find were brass nails in a hardware store. I don't know the exact diameter, but it could be close to 1/16". Just make sure the nails are full brass and not just coated. Otherwise they won't be of any use to you.

So, actually it's cheaper buying it in the US than in Belgium...
Well, the problem is... I only need some brass rod and some washers for one razor.
It's the first one I want to try to make some other scales for and put them on.

So I find it quite useless to ask someone from the US to buy it for me and have it shipped to me.
Wouldn't it be possible to ask someone from Belgium to send some brass rod and some washers to me?

You can get washers etc. at microscrews.nl, brass rods can also be found at metal shops and building centres.
