Ardennes get-together

Gentlemen,

During the weekend of 20-22 September there will be a small get-together of a straight razor afficionados and Coticule users at the workplace of Ardennes-Coticule in Lierneux/Vielsalm/MiddleOfNowhere.

Maurice, the owner of the coticule quarry will show us the quarry on Saturday and hopefully demonstrate how he cuts a coticule.

What else ?

Razors will be rubbed over coticules, maybe we'll do some testing of shaving creams, razors and stones will be admired and tested. Without a shadow of a doubt numerous beers will be gobbled. In other words it'll be fun.

Should anyone of the members here want to join us, please feel free ! There's the possiblity to sleep in a hotel very near, or sleep for free in the workplace of Ardennes-Coticule.

Damn... that sounds like fun.

As luck would have it, the 20th is the start of the annual plant shutdown for maintenance, and I have 2 days to perform yearly maintenance and software upgrades on the process control systems. My work starts the 20th in the evening, and stops 'when it's done', which is hopefully sometime saturday evening. Spending the night in the Ardennes workplace sounds infinitely more interesting than spending the night in the serverroom

Het is al een tijdje geleden maar als ik ooit afkom naar 'Antwaerpe' dan laat ik zeker iets weten. T'zal er ooit eens van moeten komen.
