    Default Brush Help

Hello everyone, I just got my first SR last night just waiting for it to ship here, but I am at a loss on a brush I hardly have any money now and was wondering if anyone knew where I might be able to procure a brush kinda cheap? I don't need the best, just one good enough to get the job done I got some soap to last until I get my check (which might take quite awhile to get) I can try to scour the antique stores around here (there are not many) I was just wondering if anyone could help, might know resources I don't. Lol any help/advise you could give would be greatly appreciated

Your local grocery store might sell one too, check the drug aisles. The only shave brushes I've found locally in stores are Van der hagen (boar), Marvy (boar), and the Body Shop (synthetic)

    pixelfixed hit it,
Look for the Van Der Hagen set. Wal-Mart under $10 for the kit with a boar brush, soap, and small bowl.
Target if you have one near you has the Van Der Hager set with a slightly nicer brush for under $20.
VDH is a serviceable soap, I usually have some on hand, and you may be able to find Williams soap as well,
which is one I also keep some of on hand.
It is also a good one to help perfect your lathering (it is a bit tough to lather).

    Enjoy that blade.

You have gotten good advice so far, I would just like to add to stay well away from The Body Shops synthetic brush as my experience with it was horrible. I have had good luck with a cheapie Omega boar brush once broken in. I think they can be had in the $8-$10 range if you come across one. Good luck.
