Opinions on Thater 4292?
I'm about to purchase a Thater 4292 and am soliciting opinions on the brush. It has a 25mm knot which I think is larger than average without being huge. It is also a two band brush that appears to be very high quality. I use both hard soaps and creams so it needs to perform well with both. Any thoughts? Thanks.

dcaven,
I own three two-bands from the 4125 series: 30 mm, 28 mm and 26 mm. They are exquisite in every way. Your brush is bound to share the same qualities. Through the years I have owned quite a few Thater brushes and have yet to be disappointed in any. Good stuff.

I have the Thater 4292/4 B 23mm two band (fan). It works great for soap or creams....it's my most used brush. I don't think you'll be disappointed with your choice. Enjoy!!

I have a 4125/2 2 band, it put my Simpsons on the shelf. It's a quality piece that performs extremely well. It's German made, what's not to like?

The brush is a 4292-5. Not sure what the 5 designates.

JM,
You can't go wrong with Thater brushes, two or three band. I have used that specific brush in the past and it is lovely.

Thater brushes are amazing fine things. I do not currently own one but enjoyed them in the past.
