I Used a 29 Year Old Boar Knot Today
I used a 29 year old boar knot this morning. I got this 1985 22mmx60mm Old Spice Barber Brush with my blue Old Spice mug. It appears to have never been used. I had cleaned it up and just put it on a shelf with the mug. This week I am using 7 different brushes over 7 days, so I put it into the rotation. I am not sure what I was expecting, but I was very pleasantly surprised! The bristles were very soft and the brush produced copious amounts of thick cushioning lather from the Stirling Spice soap. You can teach an old boar new tricks! It is no longer a “Den Queen”!

I have been doing the same.
Sterilizing some old brushes and then matching them to the soap/container where they seem to fit best.
Kind of fun.
Great mug!If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

I went all Old Spice today and used my 29 year old Old Spice barber brush again. I guess I should stop being surprised at how soft and efficient it is each time I pull it out.
Great shave today......
