Default Vintage "Better Brushes" Badger Brush Palmer, Mass

This finally arrived from the States via it's around the world trip using eBay Global shipping. Little metal brush I just dropped a bid on and forgot about and ended up winning. It's a badger, the case has taken a little beating but it's obvious the brush itself has never been used and it feels very stiff, looks like it will be high on the "Scritchy" factor with the backbone it has.

Already had a shave, so this will have to wait for next time, something to look forward to. First and only brush I've ever purchased where the shipping was more than the actual brush.

    It says:

Vulcanized in Rubber - Better Brushes - Palmer Mass

On the bottom of the brush is says:

    Sterilized - NY USA

Your post jogged my memory so I dug around and found this Gillette version which I have never used. It's not in good condition and is missing the screw on end cap but it looks neat. I think this type of brush was more popular way back than it is now. This is the brush that got me interested in travel brushes to the point that I bought the Muhle chrome and brass version with an STF knot. Very practical and compact when traveling.

Very nice, very similar styles, if not exact. I'm going to give mine a go for the next shave...I can tell the brush has never been used and it looks like it will be an epic face latherer!
