My Plisson HMW horn handle is by far the best brush I own.
The feel of horn, the beyond soft knot.
At first I was disappointed thinking it was too tall and to soft but now I'm all in on it :)
I have been searching for Chubby Manchurians lately but I'm not keen on the look of the handle...
Not meaning to annoy all the traditionalists, but for me the best brush is my L'Occitane Plisson. Just confirms what so many others have said, the best brush is the one you like.
If we are talking the Plisson synthetic brush, it is a brush I did not really like at first. It grew on me and now I don't mind it a bit. Great lather making brush That feels like you are lathering with a cloud. Pretty sure people with sensitive might like it for that reason.

Oh boy. I thought I knew what my next brush would be, but now I'm not sure. Need more research....
Yep. As Bob said.
A few badgers and a few boars and a few synthetics and a few horse. Then you will know. Ive spent as much as 200 and as little as 3. In the end i have about 6 that i enjoy the most and most of my favorites cost less than 30 bucks.
You have to experiment with types of bristles, loft, backbone, diameter of the knot, diameter of the handle, higth of the handle, bulb or fan styles. Then you will have an idea.
So tell the wife to buy you a Shavemac. Lol.
