Morris & Forndran

Brush finally arrived today. It took a little while, coming from Deutschland. It's a monster, 31mm+. I don't have calipers to find out exactly, but the other brush in the picture is a 28mm WSP High mountain white. Test shave coming soon, very excited!

Congrats - you'll love it - IMO, it's the most unique brush I've used, easily my best brush.

Look forward to hearing what you think, that brush is massive, looks like it would swallow a bowl of soap!

Who is selling these brushes? I was having a hard time finding a domestic retailer.

I do not think there is an official M&F retailer located in the US. To my knowledge the best way to get these brushes would be to buy them either directly from Lee Sabini (the person behind the M&F brand, who lives in the UK) or from another member of any shaving forum. Sometimes you can find M&F brushes on eBay. Hope it helps.

My understanding is they can be purchased here in the US:

But you actually have to go to the store to purchase, they will not ship anywhere.

LOL. Yeah, I saw that. What a stupid business model in today's day and age. Best thing is to limit your sales potential to three blocks in any direction. It makes about as much sense as a car wash with internet sales only.

I called them on the phone at one point, said I knew which brush I wanted, they had it(I checked), told them I'd pay them right now and the shipping and they said, "No way Jose"...it's there business so wasn't going to argue with them, they have a nice stock of them as well....sigh! :cry:

Well, there's two brushes they didn't sell. There are certain nostalgic aspects that I appreciate with wet shaving. This is not one of them.
