Thanked: 28I bought 2 brushes at a antique store today.....some help
Like I said I bought 2 fairly good but not great quality brushes.
I don't have pictures but I will give a good description of the brushes. I have a digital camera can I send pictures from the camera. Any help there would be great also. Sorry I use to be Amish until mom shaved her beard off.
1, THis brush is a MADE RITE. U.S.A. nylon 34. its a 2 tone base bottom part being a beer colored see thru plastic and the top half faux ivory. It looks to be nice but I have not tried it as of yet.
2. this brush has no name on it. With my luck its probably a make up brush. Any how the base is a see thru green base with what looks like a letter E with a arrow mark above the letter. Its a small base. The knot seems to be a black badger. I used it and it was a awful brush it was scratchy. It ruined my whole shave for the evening.
I can see now why someone would spend $100 or more on a good brush. I have a badger best which is my first good brush a Rooney I bought 4 years ago. I love that BRUSH but my next one is going to be a step above. I realize the brush makes the shave as much as the razor. Plus I can use it with the DE or SR.
One more thing the shop that had the brushes had a gem razor gold or brass plated for sale for $10 . It looked to be in very good shape if any one wanted me to pick it up for them I would be glad to do it. I don't collect them.
