I haven't tried this but I would wrap it in a plastic sheet material real tight up to the point of where it starts to curl. then wet the end/curl section and try to position it in the opposite direction of the curl and let it dry. What gives me this idea is from straighten horn. You know how that bounces back after straightening sometimes :<0) An over correction might do it in less attempts.
I would just use it and leave it hanging to dry afterwards it might come good. I have no idea if this would work or not, but practically speaking as long as it lathers well it doesn't really matter how it looks.
