    Default Wonky knot

I've recently aquired a older boar brush, that was stored knot down in a shave mug, giving the knot a bad case of bed head.
I've tried a few ideas to straighten the hair, but with little results.

Question: Is there a way to straighten this knot.

I would try letting it soak in hot tap water for a half hour or so, and then somehow put a form on it until it drys. A couple elastic bands might do the trick???

Tried that... Even boiling water , put a hair band on it, and let it hang for a week. It helped. But its still wonky.

    Thanks

Maybe it just needs a few more treatments of the same and some use?

My EverReady synthetic looks like this outback and I just use the old thing because it lathers cheap Williams Mug so well. After I'm through shaving I rinse it good and take a coarse comb to it.
