Brush Size
I have a brush handle that I've turned and I'm ready to add the plug. The problem is they all seem to be measured in millimeters and I don't have a metric measuring tool How do I know what size plug to get?

Thanked: 3222Worst case, use a mm to decimal or fraction converter in the net. When you do bore the hole keep in mind the knot sizes are usually measured at the glue plug so the hole should be 1 to 2 mm larger than that.

If you want a real tight fit, bore to near size wanted, then when get knot measure at desired height on knot to get the loft you want, match bore to that measurement.

Thanked: 25911" =25.4 mm , and a calculator s all you need to figure out your dimensions. You need to take into account that you will sink the knot deeper than just the plug so you will have to drill a larger opening accordingly.
