I really like the patterning in the wood. How do they feel in the hand?
I like post # 2 best.
I feel real good and it fits on the stand good . I need to take a picture of the stand but my picture taker just went to bed ;)
The shine seems to need buffing or polishing because I think the wood has something called .....sorry I can't say it is a wax though. I will ask about it. The more you handle it the duller the shine can get but it is easy to bring back with a soft cloth.
A very nice piece and pictures and stories about them are most welcome however talk of selling is not allowed on the open forum.

Nice looking burl handles.
The handles probably need a couple of coats of lacquer, shellac, varnish, etc. instead of wax.
