Correct, the size bottle doent make it that. What I was getting st is there a rule of thumb if dram size to get ie : 40 or 60 d/drsms, even though that corrilstes to volume.

Mine is PVC & both ends capped & vented. You can remove easily either cap.
Whoever,
It slides in and out easily. I just turn it upside down into my palm. I only use it for travel and I don't travel that much. I only travel with a Boar's hair brush and it's tough as nails. I used one of my Badger brushes just for the photo. BTW, there is a raised area on the end of the container that keeps the brush from actually touching the bottom, good ventilation.
I too have used the vented pill bottle when traveling. I've been doing it for years with great success. I will usually take one of my better brushes, such as a Shavemac or a custom made with me. I don't ever remember having any problems with the bristles of any brush. Just pop one in and go.

This is an issue I never knew I needed a solution for. I suppose I never thought twice about putting my brush in a Ziploc bag when traveling, but that could be because I've only owned super cheap brushes this far.

I use a Wilton sprinkles bottle... without the sprinkles, of course. ;)

I slide the brush in, handle-side. The bottle's cap-side is threaded on the outside, but the inside doesn't have a lip, so the brush just slides right out without damaging the bristles.
