    Default Boar brush

After a not so great shave tonight I grabbed my boars hair brush the kind Lynn uses in his video. Lathered up right on the face some mama bear Rosemary mint and shaved two passes with a non stropped razor.

I had a great end result. Not BBS but very presentable and nice. I think maybe I do better with a boars brush because of my tough beard. I am going to give it another go tomorrow. Kind of odd I have a good experience with a boars brush after I throw money on the silvertips.

    We shall see.

a good shave with the non stopped? I don't think i could do that... I think the microburz would F* me up, ruining my perfect skin.

Just curious. Have you tried a hair conditioner treatment on your beard before lathering up? I find that it really helps. Would hate to see a good silver tip go to waste!

I have used it in the shower but rinse it off before lather. I will try it the other way tonight.

I have a nice Best badger hair brush which I bought from ebay and another on the way from Lee's Safety Razor's but I like my store bought boarhair brushes too. They seem to form great lather faster than the badgerhair. However once the badgerhair gets going, it does surpass the boarhair.

Do you find the boar hair lifts your beard better? I think I may have had good results with it because I shave a rather tough beard. Who knows.

    This is my experience, too.
