Looking for recommendations for silver tip badger brushes. Are there any quality brushes in the $50 and under range?
There are "good enough" brushes in that range. Look for Yaqi or DS Cosmetics for example on Ali Express.
It depends what you call good. Probably the best bet is a "Best Badger" where price and quality is the highest ratio. A Silvertip, even a small one will cost more. These days a quality silvertip will run probably close $100 or higher depending on the size and handle.

Maseto shaving brushes are exceptionally good for their price
I'd have to recommend a SOC wooden handled 2 band badger brush even though it is above your price point. It has become my favourite badger brush even though I badger brushes costing much more.

Another option you have is to buy a knot only and fit it into a handle you already have. It's a little bit of work but allows you to choose a specific knot style and set it at a depth that's suits you.
I have a few silvertips but my faves are 2-bands. I prefer more backbone in a brush.
