The Shave Den Again !!!!!

Once I get past 7, that becomes my weekly razor holder and I build something larger. My only concern was having carbon steel in a bathroom, exposed to the humidity from the shower. Dad is a retired cop, he has a full woodshop in the garage.

Newbie question, RAD? I see a lot of acronyms that I do not understand. Could someone help a new guy out?

Just noticed you sig line, nice rifle. I have a similar boom-stick. Just got a Beretta comp shotgun for sporting clays, talk about an expensive habit, $3K for a fancy scattergun.

as for the rack, you need to find where Lynn posted pictures of his... same basic idea.
yes you might have problems in a bathroom where steam is often encountered...
Those of us who have our racks in the bathroom have sealed the rack to prevent moisture from getting in in some way...
add a nice glass front to your rack to make it a cabinet, and use some weather stripping, or some other sealant, and your problem is solved for the most part.

And throw in some silica packs as well to help keep it dry.

The difference in the shave is dramatic, and the luxury of those hot towels just makes ya feel like a king....

Try a little FO, or even better EO, in the water that you use to soak the towels and it gets even better :y

Right now, my collection consists of one KingKutter razor and a old horse hide strop, but razor two is in transit and I have my eye on several over at fleaBay if the price is right. Now I need a brush, soap and a new strop would be nice.
