    Default Moulting Vulfix

In February of this year I bought a Vulfix 2235S brush in super badger. From the start, it lost a couple of hairs every day but recently it has been shedding over a dozen a day. Yesterday I e-mailed Vulfix to express my disappointment about this. To their credit, they replied promptly and said that a new brush would be mailed to me straight away.
We shall see if the new brush behaves better when it comes, but full marks to Vulfix for their pleasant and helpful customer service at any rate.

    Duncan.

The only brush I use is a Super Badger Vulfix #2234. I have used it exclusively for around five years and I don't know that it ever shed a hair! I have been VERY satisfied with it.

I'm relieved to hear that Vulfix stands behind their products. I recently purchased a Simpson PJ2 Super, and it's shedding at least 4 hairs per day. If this keeps happening, I'm going to have to ask for a replacement.

Vulfix now owns Simpsons, so it'll be interesting to see how they respond if I ask for a replacement. (My brush would have been manufactured before they took over Simpson.)

Hopefully, it won't be necessary. I love this brush, and am hoping it'll stop shedding.

Unfortunately, the replacement brush has now started losing hair at a great rate too.
    Very disappointing.

Sorry to hear that: I have also a Vulfix super badger 2235 and I think it just lost one or two hairs since I'm using it. I am very satisfied with it; I don't know how you wet-dry it, but I only use hot tap water (not boiling water) and to dry it I just press slightly the bristles without pulling nor twisting, shake a few times and put to try on a stand... I don't know, maybe this will help.
