Sweet! I've always been a fan of good leatherwork. Right now i'm using an untrimmed Norelco box for my razors (I thought the irony was worth it!). Something like that would definitely be cool though.
Beauty! Your thinking is spot on. I'd like to see the end view to see how it rolls up. Is is veg or oak tanned/ weight? I can trust oak tan around steel- chrome tan especially is nothing but trouble. the regular vegetable tanned- I have never tried
bbshriver that is brilliant. toss the razor keep the box. Actually I'd like to see someone hack the electric razor motor into some straight razor device, or anything. I'm not smart enough to figure it out.
That looks awesome!
Thanks for sharing Doc.

Scott
Very nice looking roll Doc. Good job.
By the way do you make them to hold like, say , 60 or so. :hmmm: :D
That is a thing of beauty.
Nice work Doc. Great stitching and attention to detail. Looks like you bevelled & hot waxed the edges. :tu
Hopefully a prototype for sale ?
VERY VERY NICE....where do I buy one :)
Excellent work! this turn out very nice!:bow
Doc, that's awesome! I've been trying to find someone to do this for months now! Will you be selling (for cheaper than the ones on Classic? lol)? Also, what is the deal with prolonged storage of steel in leather? I heard it's no good in some cases and as mentioned in an earlier post different "finishes" might fix that. Any idea on that? Oh, and does it hold large razors?? lol
Wow Doc that is amazing!!:tu:bow
That is some very nice hand stitching too. Did you seal the edges using bones? I'm also curious as to the type of tanned leather, I've worked with veg tanned in the past.:D Nice solid looking brass buckle too.
How long did it take you to make it? And finally one more question what type of polish did you use?:D
Sorry about all the questions, just curious as I'm not in a position to make any leather stuff at the moment.:o
Wow! Very, very nice design. The workmanship looks first rate. Congratulation on your creation!!!
I have a partner working with me on this endeavor and will post all the details very shortly. Thanks for all the interest guys!!!!
That roll is awesome.
