Sweet! I've always been a fan of good leatherwork. Right now i'm using an untrimmed Norelco box for my razors (I thought the irony was worth it!). Something like that would definitely be cool though.

Beauty! Your thinking is spot on. I'd like to see the end view to see how it rolls up. Is is veg or oak tanned/ weight? I can trust oak tan around steel- chrome tan especially is nothing but trouble. the regular vegetable tanned- I have never tried

bbshriver that is brilliant. toss the razor keep the box. Actually I'd like to see someone hack the electric razor motor into some straight razor device, or anything. I'm not smart enough to figure it out.

Nice work Doc. Great stitching and attention to detail. Looks like you bevelled & hot waxed the edges.

Hopefully a prototype for sale ?

Doc, that's awesome! I've been trying to find someone to do this for months now! Will you be selling (for cheaper than the ones on Classic? lol)? Also, what is the deal with prolonged storage of steel in leather? I heard it's no good in some cases and as mentioned in an earlier post different "finishes" might fix that. Any idea on that? Oh, and does it hold large razors?? lol
