Warning - Fake Shavemac brushes
Also posted on Badger & Blade where we discovered this.
There are Chinese made fake Shavemac brushes about. Not seen them on sale but a couple of us on B&B know and I have spoken to Bernd at Shavemac about it.
He's added a bit in his website showing how to spot the fakes and asked me to tell people on B&B. Just thought I should tell you too. Please read before buying that cheap "shavemac" on ebay!

As sad as this is...think of what that says about shavemac as a company. I got a model 177 (directly from his website) and it really is an incredible product. That link will be helpful to someone who thinks they are getting a deal though

That is terrible news. I would hate to think about someone new to wetshaving who purchases what he thinks is a Shavemac brush, only to get one of these forgeries!
