I am quite sure he gets just as much joy in giving as you do in receiving!

    Otherwise he wouldn't keep giving!

Enjoy graciously. Can't wait to see it!

{EDIT} You beat me to the punch!

I have several friends who have been much more financially blessed than I and you just learn to accept graciously and realize that you must be doing something correctly with them for them to want to "share the wealth".

If I remember correctly from Brad's postings, his blessings are not necessarily financial, but those with the talent to make the things he does surely have blessings to share with the ones that they care about!

Wow. That is a gorgeous piece. I am always amazed at the generosity of the members here. I would like to give a special thanks to my own straight shaving sponsor, Greg (Olafurson), without him I wouldn't have been able to do it.

T-Ram your true and on the time with your statement i just have a hard time accepting items like this..i think i rather ask for money...the piece is utterly jaw dropping to me...his photos he shoots, everything he does is with pride and this uncanny way of looking at things...i wish more members new him or lived close to us, he just has a way of words and kindness that is missing from todays society! i have accepted the gift and will never sell! it is a great honor to have her! and DP your right i see so many people on these boards and they don't ask for anything in return...this is a great community!

I have been donated a few items by members here (a Dovo razor, almost unused; a Shumate Barber Hone, and a King 1k hone), and every time I see a thread like this it reminds me what a great site this is. Everyone is polite, courteous, and generous to a fault, whether it's information or goods. Thanks for posting this thread, it's given me a warm fuzzy for the rest of my day now.

Oh, and that's a gorgeous set - the colour of that scuttle really looks good with the rest of the set, and the styling of the brush is right up my alley.
