    Default Problems with badger

    So I bought this really cheap pair of silvertips from a guy on Craigslist but it's just not working out...

    I've lost 2 fingers just trying to get the handle in. Besides, I was told they'd be a good breeding pair, but they don't like that any more than the handle. For that matter, I haven't exactly figured out who's who, if you know what I mean. I'm considering just forgetting about that part of it, maybe they can just work things out themselves. In the meantime, I'm just going back to the boar;

    it seems there's at least some barbecue potential there if I can't get rid of that wet fur smell when I'm lathering up.

    Good call on Boar. We all secretly know its better.

    On an unrelated note: does anything rhyme with Badger?

    How about "cadger" -- obsolete but the best I could come up with on short notice
    cadge - Definition from the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary

    A strong back is a terrible thing to waste.

    Tadger.

    As far as the badger goes, mine likes it better if i make sure the handle is at least body temperature. Give that a try.

    That's tricky though unless you have a fancy metal/glass handle

    Well, ok, but I don't figure they'll like me taking their temperature much more than they like the handle. They're just plain ornery.

    My knowledge of Monty Python is only a little better than my knowledge of 19th century phallic references. Perhaps it will give the badgers a chuckle.
