Hello,
My mom got me this brush when I started getting into straight razors. It doesnt have any writing on it or a makers mark. Ive seen a few of them on SRP. Any info would be great.
Thanks,
Chris

nothing stamped on the bottom either?
You might google Semogue brushes. They have always made them with that ring at the base, although they're usually a silver/metal ring. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a vintage example.
Hello,
I think I found it! its an Ever-Ready 040... I think. Goes for about $15. Its my best brush... its my only bush:-( Looks like Ill have to pull out the lathe and turn a new one. Who sells shaving brush knots???
Thanks,
Chris
I was going to say it looks like a typical ever-ready. That's how they made them back then, usually set in rubber. There are quite few guys selling knots. They have been discussed here.
