Default Info on this brush please

    Hello,

My mom got me this brush when I started getting into straight razors. It doesnt have any writing on it or a makers mark. Ive seen a few of them on SRP. Any info would be great.

    Thanks,

    Chris

    Rearviewmirror,

No nothing is stamped anywhere on it but Im sure Ive seen it before on SRP. One was in a shave of the day post and the other time it was in the background of someones shave den photo.

    Thanks,

    Chris

You might google Semogue brushes. They have always made them with that ring at the base, although they're usually a silver/metal ring. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a vintage example.

I was going to say it looks like a typical ever-ready. That's how they made them back then, usually set in rubber. There are quite few guys selling knots. They have been discussed here.
