Default Simpsons Chubby 2 Manchurian Badger in Butterscotch

    Hi all,

Having made my introductions in the Beginners section, I thought I'd show off my new brush. This is a custom Chubby 2 Manchurian badger in Butterscotch, I ordered directly from Mark Watterson at Simpsons.

Having come to realisation that I prefer soaps and almost exclusively face lather these days, I contacted Mark for his recommendation on a brush that would meet the above brief, along with some backbone and 'scrubbiness'. Well, here it is! (I've included pre- and post-bloom pics, although I have to apologise for the poor pic quality of my iPhone).

I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this but those brushes were all recalled. It seems the hairs were contaminated during the Chinese Nuclear Testing and they are highly radioactive. The 10th shave may be your last. Simpson appointed me to reclaim all those brushes. I have a lead container awaiting them. You better send it to me quick.

Nice purhase! That brush should serve you well for many years, making shave lather goodness and slopping it on your face. Enjoy!

Oh no! That means I'll have to get a lead container soon too as I can't possibly let it go (it's the best looking brush I've ever owned!). Performance-wise this thing a soap monster and lather machine, definitely worth the 'investment'.

Beautiful brush. I have a Chubby 2 in Super and agree that it's an ideal brush for face lathering with soaps.

What a wonderful brush, outstanding to look at. I love my Chubby 3 in super, but yours is spectacular!

Thanks guys! I'd also like to add that it was a pleasure dealing with Mark - fantastic customer service. He even included a free Simpsons shaving cream with my order, which was a nice surprise!
