    Default Simpson Wee Scott

i just picked one up today and saw there was no recent post on this brush so id made a current one ...

of course i had to use it today , o'man is this little brush awesome !!! ive been looking for a smaller knot/loft brush and it fit the bill . but the size fooled me cause this thing soaked up some serious lather and applied it just as well ... i used it with cream today but i would say it is plenty stiff enough to work up a great lather with some soap as well, also i have a goatee now and am thinking of going with a narrow beard again and i have a thing that i hate getting shave cream/soap in my whiskers that im leaving (i know stupid ..lol) and i was able to keep the goatee clean and hit under the lip with the brush with minimal access lathering ..lol ... sorry if i sound like im pushing this brush (im not) , but im just super excited about this brush and think it is gonna be my favorite brush to date !!!

Sounds like it was a good pick for you. I have been interested in trying out a Wee Scott; maybe someday.

This brush comes up often usually because the person who got it didn't realize just how small it is and then because it performs way better than it's size would seem to indicate.

Of course it's still a very small brush and everything is relative.

Huh..maybe search engine error or bad cache files. Anywho, I'm glad yor enjoying the Scot! I've been using it just about exclusively lately. Great brush for accuracy when you don't need the lather all over your face. But it's worked fine for full shaves too. Has amazing capacity for being so tiny!

If you're interested in more about the Wee Scot, grab the link in post #16 of the other Wee Scot thread a bit below. Here's an excerpt:
--"The Wee Scot was the final part of the apprenticeship.-- All of us who were taught to make Simpson brushes had to make one and have it scrutinised before being allowed to run riot with all the other brushes in the range."
