    check out the finest badger Thaters at SRD .. 30 some bucks ( off hand ) and i just love mine !!! stiff enough for any puck ive thrown at it and soft enough for creams and face lathering .. i think i have the 441 model ... not sure with out looking ...

    Lots of answers here I personally agree with none of them. For soap pucks get the vintage handle of your choice and add TgN black badger knot. Then take the extra $20 you didn't spend and go pick up a puck or two of soap. That's $50 well spent, IMO... Of course YMMV
