    Default My go at Brushmaking

I love spending free time in the lathe at work. have made maybe 7 brushes total in the lathe and this is the latest i made. i ended up giving it away on a giveaway lottery in a forum. when i make brushes i just freestyle the design while i lathe, its more fun that way maybe not everyone's taste in a brush but its unique and what i think looks good.

High polish solid Aluminum with Solid copper inlay endcap. mounted Extra Stuffed silver tip at 50mm loft, 26mm knot

It is unique - very cool. Nice work! I like the "metal" look...contemporary.

That's a great looking brush, the copper cap/insert looks great with it.

Have looked at that copper sprialing 20 times as I found it interesting. That was carefully done by hand with a blunt point burnisher I believe.
The OP I believe carefully used the crosslide while feeding in the tailstock to get that effect, great job
