    Default American Chestnut & wood?

A guy at work asked me to turn a brush for him out of American Chestnut he pulled out of barn demo (bottom section) but I had problems with it. The wood was so dry it kept slipping. So .... I glued another piece on and it worked like a charm. Based this loosely on a vintage brush. Knot 22mm Best Badger.
I hope he likes it. I don' think he intends to use it, but wants it for display. I have to find him a straight razor too that I'm willing to part with as it will only be displayed.

Nice job. Shame it won't be put into service.
