Default WWI Artillery Shell Casing Shave Brush

    Hello,

Figured I needed another brush for personal use. Made this one from what I think is a, WW1 era shell casing- ( Correct me if I am wrong) I would assume the casing brush has been done before but have not seen any. If you have one or have made one, please show off some photos.

Anyway, I did not have any knots laying around but did have a big vintage horse hair stencil brush. The brush was configured flat on top originally so I took a set of clippers and trimmed up a bulb. As it turns out, I ended up with a slight epoxy build up around the casing edge so I flared a sleeve ring to cover it. Debated whether to polish off the patina on the casing and decided a little would not hurt. Works great, a little stiffer than my badger but fun to use.
