It's been some time since I've turned cocobolo and I forgot how light it is on the inside. With time, the natural oil will oxidize, it will darken and almost turn black. I like it better darker. :)

Those thin veneer strips adjacent to the nut really, really work to define the edges of the white. Great job on her Andrew. Dad's gonna love it!
