Default Custom genuine ivory shaving brush

Some time before New Year, I've had asked someone to turn some pieces of ivory in shaving brush handles I've had acquired on some flea markets.
I went to his house to discuss what I wanted and how we could work things out. Very nice experience as this guy certainly knows what he's doing and he and his wife are very nice people. Yesterday they were finished and I couldn't wait to see them. A real work of art. Can't stop looking at them. I see some more brushes being turned in the future...

OOOh Yeah!!! Those are beautiful! He did a great job turning them, whoever it is. Did he finish them with anything?

He sanded them up with high grit sandpaper and then finished it off with wax and cotton cloth.

I also can't stop looking at them. These really are works of art and whoever it was who turned them did a fantastic job. I keep coming back to check them out. Thanks for sharing!

Me neither. I've picked it up and looked at it probably about onehundred times... not that I mind doing it
When I have the time I will shoot some close up pics to show the ivory grain.
