    Default First brush restores

As many of you know I've been restoring razors for some time, but I've never tried my hands on brushes, until now.....

The one on the left I've had lying around for a couple years, the handle is bone.
    I put a 18mm TGN Silvetip in it with a 50mm loft.

The one on the right is a unknown vintage I picked up at a swap meet a couple weeks ago, sanded it down and polished it and fitted it with a 22mm TGN Super Badger Fan knot, also with a 50mm loft.

This was fun, if I come across more brushes in need of some TLC I'll pprobably pick them up

    Thanks for looking!

It's a beautiful thing to see old shaving gear restored & put back on the line to serve.
    Thanks for sharing them.

I used my brush yesterday and today wanted feel if it was dry. I rubbed my hand across the brush and the brush fell out. I dropped it yesterday off the sink. I was shocked this happened. Would the company replace this brush? I have had it a few years but only used it about 20 times. Thanks in advance.

Love that bone handle brush! I'm curious to see what the bottom looks like?
