Black/White ribboned, Yellow translucent Kirinte.... Did you get all that?? :)

This is a brush I did for Rolodave. He wanted the shape based off of another handle shape that he really likes, which I didn't mind doing for him. I did however give it a little HarryWally touch on the bottom, my classic dimple :) This Kirinite is really cool and I took pictures from different sides to show off how it looks. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves, but notice how the colors change as you move around the piece. Knot is a 24mm Grade A silvertip set to 50mm.

What's happening with the colour is, the ribbon going through the material is white on one side and black on the other. The folds and bends give it the crazy effects depending on what side is exposed. The main material, or the filler, is a yellow translucent acrylic.

I'm sure I probably confused you more than anything.....

my eyes are going nutz! Howsomever, that is an impressive brush. I had not seen a transparent combination Kirinite like that before.

There's actually quite a few different colours. Most are very nice, some are just ugly.

Skipnord (in SOTD today http://straightrazorpalace.com/shave...ml#post1498072) made a brush for me with this length and contours and it is (ahem, or was) my favorite brush. It fits my hand perfectly.

Can't wait to lather it up.

Wait until you see it in hand. The material is impressive stuff.

These brushes you are turning out have some kind of voodoo effect on me.....aside from bumblebees I have never liked black and yellow together......but this brush kicks ass, proportions, color, shape, knot......just a real treat to look at.
