Thanked: 2284Black/White ribboned, Yellow translucent Kirinte.... Did you get all that?? :)
This is a brush I did for Rolodave. He wanted the shape based off of another handle shape that he really likes, which I didn't mind doing for him. I did however give it a little HarryWally touch on the bottom, my classic dimple This Kirinite is really cool and I took pictures from different sides to show off how it looks. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves, but notice how the colors change as you move around the piece. Knot is a 24mm Grade A silvertip set to 50mm.
Forgot to take mid point shots of this one, but I did throw in an Instagram shot I took just before beginning this one.
Edit,
What's happening with the colour is, the ribbon going through the material is white on one side and black on the other. The folds and bends give it the crazy effects depending on what side is exposed. The main material, or the filler, is a yellow translucent acrylic.
I'm sure I probably confused you more than anything.....Last edited by HARRYWALLY; 05-19-2015 at 10:32 PM.

What a visual effect! Stunning! Is that material available in a wide variety of colors?

Hi Andrew
It is far more impressive in workmanship and effect than I had ever hoped.
Thank you for doing such a great job.
Skipnord (in SOTD today http://straightrazorpalace.com/shave...ml#post1498072) made a brush for me with this length and contours and it is (ahem, or was) my favorite brush. It fits my hand perfectly.
Can't wait to lather it up.
